The Story
Lucy and Will chose the most sentimental place imaginable for their wedding: Lucy's family home. Nestled in the heart of Devon, this beautiful white cottage sits amid rolling green valleys, a picturesque haven that holds countless cherished memories.
As soon as I stepped through the gates and onto the driveway, I could hardly contain my excitement for what the day had in store. The serene beauty of the setting and the warmth of the occasion promised an unforgettable celebration of love.
immediately felt at ease as I took in the surroundings, ready to capture the day's photo opportunities. The garden was stunning, everything you'd hope for in a cottage garden. Lucy's mum had spent the past year designing it, pouring her love and care into every detail.
Bridal prep was a breeze; Lucy was as calm as a cucumber. It was beautiful to see her enjoying the final moments with her mum and sisters before heading off to the church to meet Will. The church was as cute and idyllic as you could imagine. The ceremony was led by an amazing vicar, full of laughter and love, who shared his joy and faith with everyone present.
Lucy & Will
'Oh Sophie we opened the photos and burst into tears!
We are absolutely delighted with them.
They are truly stunning and you have captured the day,
us and our family so much. We couldn't be happier'
After the celebrations at the church, everyone made their way back to the cottage. Prosecco awaited in the garden, and canapés were passed around to the guests. So many beautiful candid photos were taken of the couple and their loved ones. The relaxed atmosphere made my job a breeze, capturing the joy and love shared by everyone on this special day. The day unfolded so naturally, yet with such high energy for the newly married couple. The speeches were heartfelt, and everyone listened adoringly while nestled in the garden marquee. It was a perfect blend of warmth, love, and celebration, creating unforgettable memories for all.
